Quaker Oats & Bottle Gourd Dumpling

For Dumplings
¾ cup Quaker Oats* lightly roasted & powdered
2½ cup finely grated bottle gourd
¼ cup semolina (sooji)
½ tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp finely chopped ginger garlic
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
¼ tsp garam masala
salt & chilies to taste
For Tempering
½ tsp dry roasted mustard seeds
few curry leaves & coriander finely chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
Sprinkle ½ tsp salt on the gourd and squeeze out water after 7-8 mins.
Mix all dumpling ingredients and knead to a smooth dough.
Shape into small balls and steam cook till done. Cool.
Divide balls into half and toss over the tempering. Serve hot.
*For powdered Quaker Oats, roast Quaker Oats for 2-3 mins.
Cool and grind in a mixer.
