Quaker Oats And Paneer/Tofu Makhni
Quaker Breakfast
10g roasted and powdered Quaker Oats*
50g low fat paneer/tofu
1 small (50g) onion
5g ginger
2 cloves of garlic
1 small (50g) tomato (pureed)
salt to taste
¼ tsp red chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp oi
Heat oil, add paste of onion, ginger & garlic. Fry till it turns light brown.
Add tomato puree and fry for a few mins. Add salt, red chilli powder & turmeric powder.
Add water and cook on low flame for 5-7 mins till gravy thickens.
Cut tofu into triangles or squares and add with Quaker Oats* powder to the gravy.
Simmer for few mins and serve garnished with garam masala & coriander leaves.
*For powdered Quaker Oats, roast Quaker Oats for 2-3 mins.
Cool and grind in a mixer.
