Quaker Oats Khakhra
Quaker Breakfast
½ cup powdered Quaker Oats*
1 cup whole wheat flour
¼ tsp roasted cumin powder
½ tsp sesame seeds
¼ tsp carom (ajwain )
¼ tsp turmeric
½ tsp. ginger garlic paste (optional)
2 tbsp skimmed milk
salt & chili powder to taste
Mix all ingredients and knead with warm water to firm dough. Cover and keep aside for 20 mins.
Divide into small balls and roll into paper-thin chapattis. Prick with a toothpick.
Place on hot pan / tawa and flip as tiny puffs appear.
Press with a folded kitchen towel and cook for 2 mins, till crisp.
Flip n repeat with the other side. Cool and serve.
*For powdered Quaker Oats, roast Quaker Oats for 2-3 mins. Cool and grind in a mixer.
