100g wheat flour
50g spinach
A pinch of ajwain
salt to taste
For Filling
30g roasted Quaker Oats
25g onion
½” piece ginger
3 cloves of garlic
2 green chillies
½ Lemon
salt to taste
For Filling:
Mix Quaker Oats with chopped onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies and salt.
Add lemon juice and a little water to bind.
For Litti:
Cook spinach till tender and then grind to a paste.
Add salt and ajwain to atta. Mix and make a soft dough with spinach paste and little water.
Keep dough covered for about 15 mins.
Divide the dough into 5 to 6 portions.
Flatten each ball, put a spoonful of filling and shape into a ball again.
Press lightly with palms of hands to flatten it.
Bake prepared balls in moderately hot oven.
